The Master of Science in Accountancy is designed to equip you with the necessary skills for a successful career in public accounting in just 12 months through our 100% online courses. Upon graduation, you will possess expertise in financial accounting, taxation, auditing, and analytics, and will be able to navigate complex ethical decisions with a Christian perspective. Our program is structured to align with the CPA Evolution Model curriculum, effectively preparing you for the four parts of the CPA exam.

Entrance requirements
- An awarded bachelor's degree from an accredited higher-education institution
- The accountancy program requires a 2.75 minimum undergraduate GPA in accounting or in another business-related field.
CPA exam eligibility requirements vary by state. Please visit the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy to determine requirements for your state. In general, we recommend (but do not require) that applicants who wish to sit for the CPA exam have completed undergraduate coursework in the following areas:
- Financial accounting
- Managerial accounting
- Intermediate accounting
- Accounting information systems
- Cost accounting
- Income tax
- Auditing
- Advanced/governmental accounting or equivalent
Students should also have a minimum of 24 additional credits in other business topics.
Admissions process for graduate school

- Select the Graduate option
- One page essay which should include the following:
- Reason for obtaining a graduate degree
- What are your career goals
- Why are you choosing to pursue your degree at Concordia University
- Current résumé of your education and employment experience
- Two letters of recommendation using this Recommendation Form
- Official transcripts from all institutions of higher education
Accepted into the program
- An official acceptance letter will be emailed to you that will include your Student ID number
- An email from your Admissions Counselor will be sent to you with Next-Step details
- Password information will be sent separately from the Information Technology office which will provide you access to Blackboard, your Concordia email account, and your student portal
- Academic Advising Appointment: Once admitted, you may schedule to meet with your Academic & Career Advisor who will review your degree plan, discuss orientation steps, the CUW student portal, and assist with registering for classes
